Where the extension runs
The extension runs only on https://next.vestmarkets.com. It does nothing on any other website and asks for no other browser permission.
Authentication information
To place and manage orders on the Vest account you select, the extension reuses the Vest session already open in your tab. The session token is read from Vest's own requests, kept in memory only, and used only to call Vest Markets on your behalf. It is never stored by the extension and never sent to HedgeQuantX or to anyone else.
Financial information
Balances, leverage, positions and orders are read from Vest Markets to show them in the panel and to size and manage your orders. They are processed in your browser and are never sent to HedgeQuantX.
IP address
To receive the strategy's signals, the extension connects to wss://hedgequantx.com/vest/ws; fonts and the HedgeQuantX logo are loaded from hedgequantx.com. The extension sends no account or personal data over these connections. As with any internet connection, our server sees your IP address. It is used only to protect the service against abuse and kept in server logs for that purpose.
Settings on your device
Your panel settings (profit target, max risk, number of contracts, selected Vest account identifier and whether the panel is collapsed) are saved in your browser's local storage. Clear the site data for next.vestmarkets.com or remove the extension to delete them.
What we never do
- No analytics, tracking or advertising.
- No sale or transfer of user data to third parties.
- No use of data for anything other than running the cockpit on Vest.
- No use of data to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
